In periods of market volatility, many investors fall short of their market objectives. During these times, emotion often overwhelms reason, irrationality trumps rationality, and thoughtfully constructed portfolios are exited. The mind and the markets — presented by Orion’s chief investment officer, Tim Holland, CFA, and chief behavioral officer, Dr. Daniel Crosby — examines four significant market topics from the investment and behavioral perspectives and frames them in a way that enables advisors to better engage with clients during periods of heightened volatility and uncertainty.
Those who attend will leave this conversation with useful tools to keep clients invested, regardless of what the market throws their way, all while strengthening the advisor-client relationship through conversations centered around outcomes.
